Explore companies, suppliers, capital, federal awards, and policy activity across uncrewed aircraft and mission systems.
This page focuses on uncrewed aircraft, drone systems, and the software and services directly supporting them. A company working in autonomy or aerospace is not included here solely because it shares a broad category tag.
“Drone company” can mean an aircraft manufacturer, an autonomy-software supplier, a payload company or a counter-drone specialist. The examples below distinguish those roles. They are a starting comparison, not a ranking, a procurement approval list or a claim that every product meets the same requirements.
| Company | Published products | Role to investigate | Comparison question |
|---|---|---|---|
| Anduril | Ghost, Altius and Lattice. | Aircraft and broader autonomy/mission integration. | Which product, configuration and integration scope matches the requirement? |
| Shield AI | V-BAT and Hivemind. | Aircraft and autonomy software. | Are you buying a platform, autonomy integration, or both? |
| Skydio | X10D. | Small uncrewed aircraft for sensing and situational awareness. | Which payload, operating environment and support package are included? |
| AeroVironment | Puma and Raven product families. | Small unmanned aircraft within a broader unmanned-systems portfolio. | Which current platform and support package fit the requested sensing and integration work? |
| Red Cat / Teal Drones | Black Widow. | Small aircraft marketed for short-range reconnaissance. | Which entity supplies and supports the system, and which configuration is quoted? |
| PDW | C100. | Tactical unmanned aircraft with configurable payload integration. | What payload and ground equipment are included, and what integration work remains? |
| General Atomics Aeronautical Systems | MQ-9B SkyGuardian. | Larger remotely piloted aircraft systems. | What ground infrastructure, training and sustainment are part of the acquisition? |
An autonomy supplier may support multiple aircraft rather than sell one complete platform. A counter-UAS company may detect or respond to drones without manufacturing them. Use the autonomy sector and sensors and electronic-warfare sector to investigate those adjacent capabilities. Do not use a shared broad category tag as proof of equivalent products.
Matched awards can identify agencies and work areas worth investigating. Read the underlying record before attributing an award to a product. A company’s other contracts may concern different capabilities; a reported ceiling is not a delivery count or recognized revenue. The records below describe the directory’s coverage, not the full market.
Write one mission and integration requirement, select relevant company profiles below, and use the company comparison tool to collect the available evidence. For a buying path, see the first-contract guide.
